Andrea Torres talked about the status of her love life
Kapuso actress Andrea Torres said in a recent interview that she is now open to meeting a potential partner.
To recall, Andrea’s last known relationship was with actor Derek Ramsay. They broke up in 2021, and the actor revealed that he was the one who initiated the breakup.
From that, Andrea remained single. For a while, the actress also took a break from doing TV series. The last one she did was in 2023, Love Before Sunrise, with Bea Alonzo. This year, she stars in the new series Akusada.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Andrea Torres said that even though she is now single, she is not closing her door to meeting a guy who could be a potential partner.
“Hindi na bago sa’kin po ‘to, ah? Kasi usually talaga, in between ng boyfriend ko, two years, three years. Matagal talaga,” Andrea explained why it takes her a while before entering into a new relationship after a breakup.
When asked if she is looking for a partner or just waiting, she said that she is more of going with the flow when it comes to this.
“Pagkasinabi ng friends ko na ‘Uy, meet mo ‘to, feeling ko, bagay kayo.’ Sige, imi-meet ko ‘yan, tingnan natin,” the actress shared.
Andrea also said that she is just looking for the spark, connection, and “kilig” that she would feel towards a guy. Once she feels these, she is good to go.
The Kapuso star shared that right now, she hasn’t felt this yet with the people she has met. She said that she liked the personalities of the people she met, but she did not want to force the “kilig” because for her, it would come naturally.
When asked about the qualities she is looking for in a potential partner, Andrea said that she is not particularly focused on a guy’s physical appearance. The actress is prioritizing whether she and the guy would jive. She also mentioned that it is a good thing when the guy is a bit old-school, and it was important for her to feel the “kilig.”
