Ynez Veneracion Jokes About Nose Job Regret: “Nagmukha akong witch!”
YNEZ VENERACION – Actress Ynez Veneracion revealed she’s considering a reverse nose job, saying her current look makes her feel uncomfortable.
Ynez Veneracion recently opened up about the harsh criticisms she has received regarding her appearance, revealing that she’s considering having a reverse nose job.
“Kahit sa mga camera n’yo na ‘yan, pangit ako diyan. Hindi ako love ng camera,” Ynez said with a laugh, acknowledging the bashers who continue to comment on her looks, especially after her appearance in the GMA Prime series Mga Batang Riles.
Ynez admitted that she sometimes uses light filters on camera but avoids going overboard. “Kaya nga kadalasan, kahit sa camera ko, nagpi-filter ako pero light lang. Ayaw ko namang mabura ang mukha ko… Mag-filter tayo, pero konting-konti lang.”
Despite the criticisms, the actress remains unfazed. “Sabi ko nga, bakit masyadong big deal ang pagpapaayos, pagpapaganda?… Ako lang ba ang nagparetoke? Haller? Gusto n’yo ba mag-namedrop ako? Char!” she said, laughing during a press interview.
Interestingly, Ynez shared that people who meet her in person often compliment her, saying she looks better than on TV. “Kapag nakita n’yo naman ako sa personal, hindi naman ako ganun… Mas gusto ko yun, na hindi ka kagandahan sa TV, pero dyosa sa personal.”
She recounted an encounter where someone remarked, “Ay iba pala siya!… Iba talaga ang hitsura mo sa TV kaysa sa personal.”
Ynez revealed that she started getting cosmetic enhancements when she was just 20. “Noong 20-year-old ako, talagang pak yung mukha ko… Na-enjoy ko naman yun ng 20 years,” she said, noting that the fillers have only recently started to sag due to aging.
Now, she relies on radio frequency (RF) treatments. “So, nag-RF ako… Siguro yung fillers na nilagay noon talagang nag-sag na… Ngayon, niremedyuhan ko na lang, nawawala na siya.”
While she’s done with most enhancements, there’s one procedure she regrets: her rhinoplasty. “Parang hindi ko lang siya nagustuhan. Nagmukha akong witch!” she joked, adding, “O, di ba, huwag n’yo na akong i-bash. Iba-bash ko na ang sarili ko… Akala ko ba gagawin mo akong Barbie? Ginawa mo akong witch. Ha-ha!”
