DOST Scholarship Result 2025 

The Department of Science and Technology is set to release the DOST Scholarship Result 2025 within a few months after the examinations. 

The DOST Scholarship Result 2025 including the complete list of passers will be out on June 23-30, 2025. 

The Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute conducted the scholarship examinations on April 5-6, 2025, at 215 testing centers nationwide to 95,654 examinees.  

55,758 examinees came from Luzon, 21,806 from Visayas, and 18,058 from Mindanao. 

The program aims to give opportunity to Filipino youth to pursue degrees in science and technology. The scholarship is open to qualified college freshmen. 

Here is the List of Passers 

DOST Scholarship examination passers can avail the following benefits: 

  • P8,000 monthly stipend 
  • Internet and learning materials allowance 
  • One-time clothing allowance 
  • One round-trip economy-class fare per year for those studying outside their home province 
  • Outright thesis allowance 
  • Graduation allowance 
  • Group accident insurance 
  • Up to P40,000 tuition fee subsidy for students in private schools 

To qualify for the 2025 DOST Scholarship, students must pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in a field considered a priority under science and technology. This degree must be taken at either a state university or college (SUC), or at a private institution that meets specific standards. 

Eligible private schools must either be officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as a Center of Excellence or Center of Development, or must hold a Level III accreditation from the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) for the BS course the student is enrolling in. 

Once scholars complete their degrees, they are required to work in the Philippines in a science or technology-related job. This service requirement must be fulfilled for the same number of years that the student received scholarship support, and it can be carried out in either the government or private sector. 

It ensures that the knowledge and skills developed through the scholarship are used to benefit.
