In an interview, Baron Geisler opens up about his role in “Incognito.”
Seasoned actor Baron Geisler expressed his thoughts about his gratitude and joy in portraying the role of Agent Miguel Tecson in “Incognito.”
“Incognito” is one of the hit series produced by ABS-CBN starring Daniel Padilla, Ian Veneracion, Richard Gutierrez, Anthony Jennings, Maris Racal, Baron Geisler, and Kaila Estrada.
Baron has been in the limelight since he was 12 years old, and as it appeared, he’s been acting most of his life. He had his fair share of issues and controversies, but when it comes to acting, his talent is undeniable. He auditioned as a child star for ABS-CBN’s iconic gag show Ang TV to be Fonzy in Tabing Ilog.
Apart from these roles, he is best at doing antagonistic roles. However, in Incognito, he was given this good guy role, which he is happy and grateful for. It is different from the roles he used to do, but despite this, he found joy in doing it.
He did “darker, more intense, and sometimes downright crazy characters,” and with his role in Incognito, it felt like he entered a new chapter.
Geisler wrote, “These days, I’m enjoying good guy roles like Doc Miguel. There’s something about it that feels… right. Maybe it’s where I am in life, maybe it’s just the universe aligning, but for now, I’m embracing it. Don’t get me wrong, those intense, maniacal roles will always have a special place in my heart, and I’m not closing the door on them.”
For a moment, it felt like home for him. In the series, he plays the multi-skilled agent.
He is not closing his doors to taking darker roles again, but for now, he enjoys having roles that feel lik home.
