Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino’s fans are excited about their new project together
Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are set to work in their fourth project together.
Kim and Paulo’s tandem is tagged as KimPau. Their first project together was the drama series Linlang. This was followed by a romantic-comedy series, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? From that, fans have been shipping them.
The KimPau tandem once again did another project, and it was the movie My Love Will Make You Disappear that reached P100 million gross. Their tandem is well-received by fans, and support is pouring in for them.
With the success of their onscreen partnership, a new project is set to feature them. Dreamscape Entertainment released a teaser on June 18. The Instagram post showed a series of photos.
The first photo showed a copy of the script with the title “The Alibi” with the names of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino. It is written by Danica Mae Domingo and directed by FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin. There is a red “coming soon” on this.
The next photo showed Paulo’s character, Vincent Cabrera, who is a reporter. Then, the third photo featured Kim’s character, Marie Morales. The next photos hinted at how their lives are entangled.
“Every detail counts. May hindi sila sinasabi… and we’re about to find out,” the caption of the post stated. This made their fans so excited. “Superb ang serye na ito ng KimPau nakakaexcite sobra. Congrats po galing ng dreamscape,” a fan commented.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Paulo Avelino shared that it is his first time having multiple projects with a leading lady. With his past leading ladies, he only worked with them on a single project. He also said that he wanted to do other acting genres with Kim Chiu.
