Actress Ruffa Gutierrez revealed that she and Herbert Bautista are currently going through a bump and that they are not on speaking terms.
It has been years since Ruffa Gutierrez and Herbert Bautista have been together as a couple; however, the details they share about their relationship have always been limited. Previously, Ruffa revealed her relationship with Herbert has always been serious, hence them being so private about it.
Last May, Ruffa even shared a post dedicated to Herbert for his birthday, sharing some of their sweet moments together. In the caption, she wrote, “One day late but the most unforgettable moments don’t make it to social media. Happy birthday, HERBERT CONSTANTINE MACLANG BAUTISTA!”
However, roughly a month following the sweet post she shared online, she appeared in an interview with an unpleasant revelation about their current status. The conversation came up after she was asked about the rumored live-in setup with him, which she denied.
According to her, she doesn’t do this and even feels like this is one key that makes her relationships last longer, as there is still the element of excitement to see each other again.
“Hindi ako naniniwala sa live-in kaya yung mga relasyon ko nagtatagal kasi may space, excited kayo to see each other,” she shared, and added regarding their current relationship, “But with Herbert, we’re going through a bump right now and we’re not speaking. So let’s see if that bump will last or we’ll speak again… I don’t know.”
Meanwhile, her daughters are now with Yilmaz Bektas, her ex-husband. They are spending time with their father, and as their mother, she has always been supportive of this. In the interview with Boy Abunda, she shared that she is even planning on inviting Yilmaz to her birthday.
They would talk for hours over the phone, and she is sure that once they see each other personally, they would spend more hours just talking. She shared that she also wanted to see him. She said, “I think it’s been more than, like, twenty years since we last saw each other, since the last time he came to visit me here.”
