Little Girl Earns Praise for Cleaning Up Her Own Table at Fast-Food Restaurant
INDEPENDENT CHILD – A little girl goes viral on social media for cleaning up her own table at a popular fast-food restaurant.
Recently, Lifewithalex0904, a Tiktok user, shared a video of her five-year-old daughter cleaning up after herself at a fast-food restaurant. The post quickly circulated on social media and garnered various reactions from the online community.
The little girl, named Alex, had just finished a meal with her mom, Jeny Velez, who treated her to lunch as a reward for doing well on her first day at an enrichment class. While Jeny was at the counter ordering take-out, Alex quietly cleaned up the table by herself.
“Ipinagmalaki niya sa akin na wala siyang mali, kaya … naisipan kong i-treat siya kasi napaka-very good pagdating sa pag-aaral,” Velez said.
Alex threw away the trash, stacked the trays, and made sure their space was tidy. Many were impressed not just by her good manners but also by her independence at such a young age.
Jeny shared that Alex became more responsible and mature when she learned she was going to be a big sister soon. At just five years old, she was already showing signs of being caring and thoughtful.
“Super independent po niya lalo na nung nalaman niyang magiging ate na siya kasi I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant po. Super excited din siya maging ate,” she added.
Velez said that Alex often sees her and her husband practice CLAYGO (Clean As You Go) whenever they eat out, and it seems their daughter has picked up the habit naturally. It’s something the family values and practices regularly.

According to Jeny, Alex is their only child after six years of waiting, so they make sure to guide her closely as she grows up.
“Matagal po namin siyang hinintay. Six years bago po dumating si Alex sa’min, kaya sabi ko po ay tututukan ko ang paglaki niya,” she explained.
