From slowly opening up about their relationship, are James Reid and Issa Pressman also taking it slow in terms of getting engaged? There have been engagement rumors hounding the relationship of the celebrity couple, and this rumor was sparked after eagle-eyed netizens noticed a ring on her ring finger.
In a Facebook post, a detail has reached Xian Gaza, and according to him, he was told that Pressman has been proudly showing off her ring to her friends. In his post, he confirmed the engagement. The caption said, “BREAKING NEWS: James Reid at Issa Pressman, engaged na!”
In the comments section, he wrote, “Ipinagmalaki ni Issa Pressman sa mga friends niya yung engagement ring. Nakarating sa akin.”
As much as we all know, it was in 2020 when James and Nadine Lustre confirmed their split, but in 2019, there were already rumors about James and Issa. After confirming the split, the actor clarified that Pressman was not a third party.
During the height of the allegation, Issa denied the third-party speculation. She shared in a post, “If I stay silent, i’m ‘guilty’. If I stand up for myself, i’m ‘defensive’. The world judges either way. But to end it here & now, everything is 100% FALSE.”
Years after, specifically in 2023, James confirmed his relationship with Issa and expressed that he was at his happiest with her. There were challenges in their relationship, but these have only strengthened them as a couple.
Regardless of what they’ve been through in their relationship, James said he and Issa are stronger than ever.
