A netizen shared a post about Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto’s rumored breakup
Actor Gerald Anderson and actress Julia Barretto are the latest subjects in the celebrity rumored breakup issue circulating online.
Gerald confirmed his relationship with Julia in an interview in 2021. That was two years after they worked together in the movie Between Maybes and the actor’s controversial breakup with actress Bea Alonzo.
Although Gerald and Julia were not so vocal about the details of their relationship, they were generous enough to share glimplses of their bonding moments on their social media pages. The couple was also generous enough to answer questions about their relationship during interviews.
Just recently, speculations surfaced that Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto are no longer together. It was because of a netizen’s question post on the actor’s Instagram post.
The netizen asked why Julia was not with him and other netizens posted allegations that a breakup happened. Another netizen even said that Julia’s sister Claudia Barretto unfollowed Gerald on Instagram.
However, some netizens slammed the breakup rumors and pointed out that there was no issue if Gerald was not with Julia at that time.
Amid the breakup rumors, a netizen on Reddit claimed that Gerald was just making a buzz because he had an upcoming project. “Nagpapaingay lang sina Gerald and Julia kasi may upcoming projects, nagpa-uto naman kayo,” the caption of the post stated.
This included a screenshot of a conversation between two unknown individuals. One asked the other if Julia was no longer visiting Gerald’s resort and the answer was “pumumunta pa.”
Then the person asked if this meant that Gerald and Julia are still together. The other person answered a direct “yes” and added, “Parang ang nabalita nga dito is busy si Ge (Gerald) sa new project nya and naging busy si Mama J since kinasal si kafatiid.”
