Gabbi Garcia hopes to have this kind of project in the future
Kapuso It Girl Gabbi Garcia said in a recent interview that she is open to doing GL or the “Girl’s Love” series.
Gabbi is one of GMA’s homegrown talents. She started as a teen actress and eventually became one of the sought-after leading ladies of the Kapuso network. She also ventured into hosting these recent years in her career.
With her acting career, she has done various roles and genres of teleseryes. In the future, she still aspires to do more projects with different concepts like a GL series.
In a recent interview after the renewal of her contract with the Kapuso network, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the actress said she’s open to being in a GL series if a project like this is offered to her.
“It’s a role that I haven’t done. So yes, why not?” the actress-host said. When asked about her leading lady in this kind of project, Gabbi did not say a name but she she said that as long as the script is nice, she is okay with it.
Aside from a GL series, Gabbi shared that she also hoped to have a project like the movie Devil Wears Prada that revolved around the fashion industry. She added that she is ready to explore more when it comes to her acting projects in the future.
Her current project is the series Slay, which is a collaboration between GMA and the online streaming platform Viu.
In a previous interview, Gabbi Garcia recalled the rejections she experienced during the time when she was just starting in the entertainment industry. Just like many celebrities, she also went through a lot of auditions until GMA gave her a chance.
Despite the rejections, Gabbi said that she never lost her determination to pursue her dream and eventually, she got the success she deserved because of her hard work.
