Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino were among the many celebrities who joined this charity fun run
Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino reacted to a man who kept following his loveteam partner Kim Chiu during the charity fun run event Takbo Para sa Pelikulang Pilipino.
This charity event was organized by Myriad Corporation which is owned by Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards and the Movie Workers Welfare Foundation Inc. (MOWELFUND) to help the marginalized Filipino film workers.
The fun run that was held on May 11 was a star-studded event. Many celebrities supported the charity event for their fellow workers in the entertainment industry.
Among the celebrities who joined the fun run were Kapamilya loveteam Paulo Avelino and Kim Chiu. The Kapamilya stars have been bonding together through sporty activities like running and biking.
A video of them circulated online that did not sit well with their fans. It was because a man kept on following Kim. That man apparently pretending to be one of Kim’s security personnel. A video posted on Reddit showed that Paulo was subtly shoving the man away who was trying to get near Kim.
Some fans showed photos that the said man had been looking at Kim for a long time. With this, they feared for Kim’s safety because the man could be a stalker.
Another video posted on X, formerly Twitter, showed how Paulo protected Kim from an awkward situation as the man kept following her.

A netizen on Reddit commented, “May isang video nito sa Tiktok klaro ang salita. Sabi ng lalaki, tabihan natin si Maam Kim para may security. Paulo – Di ka naman security bro. Tapos pinalipat nya si Kim.” Some netizens expressed admiration to Paulo Avelino for being there for Kim Chiu during that unexpected moment.
