Sen. Cynthia Villar, Husband Manny Villar Cast Votes Early on Elections Day

CYNTHIA VILLAR – The Senator admitted she expects to be voted by the people in Las Piñas citing she has done so much.

Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar’s senatorial bid is endorsed by both President Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. She is also reportedly one of the alleged senatorial bets of the Iglesia Ni Cristo which is a huge church group in the Philippines. She is in the attempt to switch positions with her mother.

If Camille Villar wins senator, she will join her brother, Sen. Mark Villar, in the Senate. The Villar matriarch is serving her last term in the Senate and she is currently running for Las Piñas Representative.

On the rift between the two (2) highest government officials in the country, Sen. Cynthia Villar previously expressed her hope that Pres. Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte will just settle their issues and be in good terms with each other.

The reporters had a chance interview with Sen. Cynthia Villar who commended the voting processing. She tagged it as “efficient” and praised the schedule set for the senior citizen voters.

“Maganda naman nauna ‘yung mga senior citizen eh. Maaga pa hindi mainit. Saka hindi kasama sa gulo,” she said.

Based on the report, Sen. Cynthia Villar expects that the people of Las Piñas will vote for her. She held the post for several years before.

“It depends sa mga Las Piñeros. Ine-expect ko iboboto nila ako. I’ve done so much,” the Senator said.

After voting, the Villars said they will just head home and wait for the results of the elections. On the senatorial bid of their daughter, the Villar matriarch admitted that they expect her to win as they gave their best.

Previously, Sen. Cynthia Villar downplayed the interest to be the House Speaker if she wins representative of Las Piñas.
