Alan Peter Cayetano endorsed Willie Revillame
Senator Alan Peter Cayetano commended senatorial candidate Willie Revillame for his 20 years of service to Filipinos.
Willie is one of the many celebrities who ventured into politics. He is an independent candidate but several prominent names in the Philippines have already expressed support for his candidacy.
For many years, Willie is known for being a game show host. His television programs had their highs and lows but his avid supporters were always there wherever network he would be.
However, some showbiz personalities had a different tune when it comes to Willie Revillame’s political stint, just like talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz who criticized his “attitude” during a motorcade, and veteran entertainment writer Lolit Solis who warned the voters about Willie.
Despite the negative reactions to his aspiration to become a senator, Willie continues to receive support from other people.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, May 6, Willie’s official page shared photos with Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano. “Para sa tiwala, suporta, at mga payo, maraming, maraming salamat po, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano at Mayor Lani Cayetano! Tulong-tulong tayo para sa kalusugan, trabaho, at edukasyon ng bawat Pilipino,” the caption of the post stated.
Willie also reminded the public to vote for him so that he can continue helping a lot of people.
On a Facebook live on the night of May 5, Cayetano introduced Willie to his followers. In the video, Willie said if ever he wins, Cayetano will be his adviser. “Galing, sobrang idol, marami akong matututunan,” the TV host said.
Based on the post that News5 shared on Twitter, Cayetano lauded Willie for serving the Filipino people.

Alan Peter Cayetano highlighted Willie Revillame’s 20 years of doing his show for the masses. “Running a show like his for 20 years, may skills po yan, hindi lang sa managing, ah management, marketing, but sa budgeting,” the Senator said, adding that Willie can really help.
