Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte lambasted the “Bagong Pilipinas” slogan of the Marcos administration. Based on a report on GMA News, at a campaign rally of Manila mayoralty candidate Isko Moreno in Santa Ana, the Vice President stressed that what should be done is the continuity of what former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte has started.

Based on the report, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that there is allegedly an unchanging cycle of poverty and promises but the people are getting hungrier. She stressed that the government has many reasons but more and more Filipinos are suffering now.

In one of the campaign sorties in Manila, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte apologized to the Filipinos for endorsing Pres. Bongbong Marcos. She also claimed that she accepts the apology of Sen. Imee Marcos for convincing her to run as his vice president.
