PINOY BIG BROTHER – People online have reacted to the punishment given to Shuvee after speaking about the outside world.
The roster of the āPinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Collabā housemates is finally complete with the entry of Shuvee Etrata and Xyriel Manabat. With the monikers “Ang Island Ate ng Cebu” for Shuvee and “Ang Golden Anaktres ng Rizal” for Xyriel.
While staying inside the house, the housemates have a set of rules to follow, and one of the things they are prohibited from doing is talking about the outside world. This is one rule Shuvee violated, which led her to suffer punishment.
People today have access to live streaming, and they’ve seen that Shuvee was exposed under the scorching heat of the sun. They were concerned about her welfare, considering how dangerous the heat is nowadays.
“Tangna mo kuyaa binilad mo si Shuvee under the 43Ā° Manila sun??!!! wtf talaga this is inhumanely ungodly grabe sa mga babae ang PBB,” says one netizen which earned the attention of PBB host Bianca Gonzalez.
The PBB host reminded the commenter to be accountable and to be fully aware of what has transpired before commenting. Moreover, the use of bad words and calling Big Brother with something offensive was unnecessary.
Another one commented, “So shuvee‘s being punished for mentioning things from the outside world, meanwhile yung boys kahit anong misogynistic ng words and behavior okay lang? Yes, clearly may unfair treatment talaga na nangyayari and we should stop denying it.”
Other netizens, on the other hand, admired the concern of other housemates for Shuvee. They appreciated some housemates for staying beside Shuvee and for not leaving her behind while she was being punished.
