She told reporters her relationship with the president had become so toxic that she even imagined cutting off his head.

Meanwhile, VP Sara is to face an impeachment trial soon for the following grounds:

  • Misusing public funds while being the vice president and education department head
  • unexplained wealth
  • death threats to the president
  • Bribery and corruption
  • involvement in extrajudicial killings
  • destabilization, insurrection, and public disorder

Amid the issues her offices and her family are facing, she teased the people about her presidency during her speech at an event. She hinted at her presidential bid during Manila mayoral candidate Isko Moreno’s campaign event.

She said in a video, “Tanggalin ko lang po ‘yong seal ng aking opisina. Palitan natin ng seal ng Office of the President.”

Meanwhile, regarding her impeachment trial, VP Sara is confident in her lawyers that she will win her impeachment trial before the Senate.

“Ang aking impeachment, sinasabi ng mga lawyer, they are more than confident na mananalo sila sa impeachment,” Duterte said in a chance interview in Cebu. She accordingly went with them after she went home from The Hague, Netherlands, where her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, is currently detained.

They tackled her impeachment case. To recall, she was impeached by the House of Representatives last February 5. 215 House members voted in favor of her removal from office. The trial is now pending before the upper chamber of Congress.
