Veteran actor Gardo Versoza shares a photo with late legendary actresses Nora Aunor and Cherie Gil, and this was the caption.
Actor Gardo Versoza had a heart attack years ago. In a previous article, Versoza underwent an angioplasty procedure after doctors found clogged arteries in his heart. There were two blocked arteries in him, and because of this, he needed to undergo two separate angioplasty procedures.
He even sold his gym equipment to raise funds for his second heart procedure.
The past few weeks have been filled with grieving and mourning over the loss of some of the iconic stars of the industry. Gloria Romero died in January, Pilita Corrales died a few weeks ago, and her death was followed by the death of superstar Nora Aunor.
In a post, Versoza shared a screenshot of his scene with legendary actresses Cherie Gil and Nora Aunor. He put a caption on it that stole the attention of many people online. To recall, Cherie Gil died in 2022 at a hospital in New York City at the age of 59. She succumbed to a rare form of endometrial cancer.
In the caption of his post, he wrote, “mukhang ako na ang next ah.”
He said it in a lighthearted way, but worried some, considering the past health problems he’s had in the past. Meanwhile, some people understood his humor as he is close to these legendary artists.
It earned laugh reactions, but many people objected to this joke saying he is going to live a long life. Surely, everyone’s path is leading to that, but many people wished and hoped for the actor to have a longer journey.
