PAGASA Says Fair and Warm Weather to Prevail Throughout PH

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that fair and warm weather will prevail nationwide.  

On Saturday (April 19, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Fair and warm weather will prevail over most parts of the country.  

PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio reported that easterlies will continue to affect the country. Warm weather condition nationwide is expected on Black Saturday.

Bukas, inaasahan pa rin na magiging maganda at maaliwalas ang panahon sa ating bansa. Syempre, asahan pa rin natin ang mainit at maalinsangang panahon lalo na sa tanghali at sa hapon,” Aurelio said  

The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Surigao del Sur and Davao Oriental.  

Bukod sa maalinsangang panahon, may tyansa pa rin ang mga isolated na pag-ulan dulot ng thunderstorm, lalong-lalo na sa silangang bahagi ng ating bansa,” Aurelio added.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected over the remaining parts of the country.  

No low-pressure areas or tropical cyclones are being monitored inside the Philippine area of responsibility.  

Here are the predicted temperature ranges in major areas: 

  • Metro Manila: 25°C to 36°C 
  • Tagaytay: 23°C to 33°C 
  • Baguio: 17°C to 26°C 
  • Laoag, Ilocos Norte: 25°C to 34°C 
  • Tuguegarao: 24°C to 37°C 
  • Legazpi, Albay: 26°C to 32°C 
  • Kalayaan Islands: 26°C to 34°C 
  • Puerto Princesa: 27°C to 34°C 
  • Iloilo: 25°C to 33°C 
  • Tacloban: 25°C to 32°C 
  • Cebu: 27°C to 32°C 
  • Cagayan de Oro: 24°C to 33°C 
  • Davao: 26°C to 34°C 
  • Zamboanga: 25°C to 34°C 

The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to avoid long sun exposures and stay hydrated.  

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition throughout the country will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA
