Ellen Adarna Opens Up About Her Amazing Weight Loss Journey

ELLEN ADARNA – Here’s how Ellen Adarna achieved her jaw-dropping weight loss through consistent workouts, mindful routines, and a positive mindset after giving birth to her second child.

Actress and celebrity mom Ellen Adarna recently opened up about her post-pregnancy weight loss journey, sharing some of the practices that helped her slim down after giving birth to her second child. In an Instagram post, she proudly showcased her progress, revealing a noticeably fitter and healthier appearance.

Ellen shared that returning to her pre-baby body has been a gradual process. “Took me 9 months to grow a tiny human in my belly, so I’m giving myself another 9 months to hit my goals,” she explained. Now five months postpartum, she acknowledged she hasn’t fully achieved her target yet but emphasized that every bit of progress matters.

She detailed her weekly fitness routine, which includes Pilates three times a week and yoga twice a week. She also tries to walk at least 5,000 steps a day, even while staying mostly at home to care for her newborn.

Ellen also revealed she’s dealing with sciatica—a condition that causes pain in the lower back and legs. With humor, she jokingly blamed her daughter Liana for it, adding that it’s all worth it because her daughter is “super beautiful.”

Beyond the physical challenges, Ellen talked about the emotional struggles she’s faced. Interestingly, she said she was more affected by postpartum hair loss than by the process of losing weight. “Mas na depress pakos hairfall kaysa losing weight. TBH,” she admitted.

She also found motivation in the light-hearted outlook of local icons Rufa Mae Quinto and Janina San Miguel. Quoting them, she said, “One step at a time, go go go! I don’t feel any pressure right now.”

Ellen’s experience highlights that bouncing back after childbirth takes time, patience, and a positive mindset—proving that slow and steady progress is still progress.
