PAGASA Says Easterlies to Affect PH Weather Condition

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that warm weather will prevail over most parts of the country.

On Saturday (April 12, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA weather specialist Grace Castañeda reported that hot weather will also generally prevail in the country. However, the easterlies will continue to bring cloudy skies and thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

No low-pressure area or tropical cyclone is also monitored inside and outside the Philippine area of responsibility.

The weather agency has advised the residents to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern and Central Luzon, as well as the remaining parts of the country will be slight to moderate. PAGASA did not raise a gale warning over any of the country’s seaboard.
