Miss Earth 2004 Priscilla Meirelles revealed that her estranged husband John Estrada has been asking for a reconciliation.
Priscilla and John’s relationship became a trending topic on various social media platforms last year. After a controversial statement made by Priscilla that John was with another woman in a viral video, the breakup confirmation followed.
When they were spotted together in Singapore in September last year, assumptions surfaced that they were getting back together. The actress immediately debunked that assumption.
In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of Kapamilya journalist Karen Davila, based on the article in Inquirer, Priscilla Meirelles shared that she has been reading assumptions about the reason why she is getting fitter.
She shared that she would read comments saying that she is eager to get back with John Estrada, so she is making efforts to look good. When she was asked if John was trying to reconcile, she answered, “He does constantly.”
Then, she mentioned that netizens would comment about her figure now. “It’s a little bit flattering because there are a lot of assumptions online. I get comments like, ‘She’s losing weight because she wants her husband back,’ ‘He doesn’t want to do anything with you, move on,’ things like that. The thing is that it does not come from what happened,” Priscilla shared.
She also stressed that after the decision was made final, she would leave her estranged husband, and there would be no turning back for her. Priscilla had already left their conjugal house with their daughter, and she stressed that this meant that she had no intention for them to get back together.
The actress said that she and John are now a closed book. Then, Priscilla Meirelles pointed out the lesson that John Estrada and people like him should learn from this kind of situation in a relationship.
“If there’s something that he and the people like him need to learn is that you cannot over and over treat people with lack of respect, especially the ones that are good to you,” Priscilla Meirelles stressed.
