Jojo Mendrez filed a blotter complaint against Mark Herras
Kapuso actor Mark Herras reacted to the complaint filed against him by businessman-singer Jojo Mendrez.
The rumors linking Mark and Jojo started circulating when they were spotted together at a hotel. Amid the issue, they clarified that their meeting at a hotel was for a collaboration project as Jojo was promoting his song.
Mark even surprised Jojo with a bouquet of flowers when he performed his revival song during a press conference.
After this, Jojo Mendrez was spotted with Mark Herras’s fellow StarStruck alumnus Rainier Castillo. With this, it was said that the MarJo tandem is no longer a thing.
In a recent press conference, Jojo, along with his talent manager, revealed some things about Mark. It was said that the actor let Jojo down when he left during the Star Awards when they were supposed to be together as award presenters.
Then, Jojo revealed that out of pity, when Mark needed money, he lent P1 million to the actor. In the same press conference, Jojo said that the actor had “pagbabanta.” Allegedly, the actor threatened to burn Jojo’s house if he would no longer be part of the singer’s team. Mark allegedly got jealous of Rainier, who is now part of Jojo’s promotion.
Based on the report from TV5’s Frontline Pilipinas, Mark Herras is now facing a police blotter filed by Jojo Mendrez. On Tuesday, April 1, Jojo personally went to the police station with his lawyer to file the complaint.
In a message sent by the actor to News5 entertainment reporter MJ Marfori, he denied the allegation against him.
Mark stressed that it is not in his personality to threaten anyone, even though issues are being created against him. On April 2, it is expected that Jojo’s camp will formally file the complaint. When the singer-businessman was asked what his message to Mark is, he just said, “Wala akong mensahe sa kaniya.“
