PAGASA Says Hot Weather to Prevail Over Parts of PH

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that hot weather will prevail over parts of the country.  

On Tuesday (April 1, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather conditions.  

PAGASA weather specialist Chenel Dominguez reported that hot weather with chances of rain is expected across the country. The combined effects of the temperature and air humidity may cause discomfort.

Dangerous heat index level will continue in Dagupan City, which will have a heat index of 46 degrees Celsius.  

PAGASA announced the start of the dry season in the Philippines last March 26, 2025.  

The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with isolated rains over parts of the country. The northeasterly windflow will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country   

The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

“Pinapaalalahanan ang mga kababayan sa flashflood at pagguho ng lupa dala ng localized thunderstorm,” she warned.  

No low-pressure area is being monitored inside and outside the Philippine area of responsibility.  

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.  

PAGASA did not raise a gale warning over any parts of the country.
