SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President stressed that the accusations against her father is allegedly not a case for the International Criminal Court (ICC) if there are no names of the victims.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is currently detained in the Hague Penitentiary Institution. It was last March 11 when the former President was arrested in Manila by the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The arrest of Duterte shocked the Filipino populace. It earned Malacañang and Pres. Bongbong Marcos a lot of criticisms on the actions of the government regarding the arrest of the former Chief Executive.
Last March 28, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte celebrated his 80th birthday amid his detention at the ICC facility. Vice Pres. Sara Duterte asked for prayers for FPRRD on his birthday.

Aside from Vice Pres. Duterte, the former President’s common-law wife, Honeylet Avanceña, and their daughter, Kitty Duterte, were also in The Hague to visit the former President on his birthday. They were allowed by the ICC to visit the former President.

According to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte wants her to immediately go home to the Philippines and not leave the country. The Vice President said she will just set the legal team of her father on his ICC trial and go home to the country.
Amid the detention of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte reacted to the alleged 30,000 drug war deaths as claimed by the human rights group. Based on a report on Philippine Star, the police records only hold 6,000 deaths.
Vice Pres. Duterte is looking for the pieces of evidence on the claim of the human rights group. Based on the report, the Vice President claimed that it is not a case in the country as well as for the ICC.
“So, nasaan na ang 30,000 pieces of evidence? This is not a case for the ICC. These were not even cases in the Philippines. Not a single case,’’ the Vice President said.
Based on the report, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte challenges the victims to prove that there is a “systematic killing” on the war on drugs campaign of the former administration citing they have no names. According to the Vice President, there are only 181 pieces of evidence and there were only 43 victims.
“How can you prove systematic killing of 30,000 victims if you do not have the names of 30,000 victims? …and yet we have 181 pieces of evidence. And we don’t even have 50 victims,” she said.
Amid the detention of the former President, Duterte’s partner Honeylet Avanceña told his supporters to go on as nothing is impossible with God.
