Content Creator Elicits Comments From Netizens for Reviewing Rice Aid from Congressmen
A content creator went viral and elicited comments from netizens after reviewing rice aid distributed by congressmen.
Recently, Riyo Ballesteros, a Facebook user, shared his food review of the rice he received. The rice came from congressional aspirant Leandro Legarda Leviste and incumbent Batangas 1st District Representative Eric Buhain.
Riyo provided detailed ratings for each batch of rice. For Leandro Legarda Leviste’s rice, he received 10 kilos of Jasmine rice. He described it as long grain, off-white in color, and odorless. He noted that it required more water when cooking but still tasted good even with sardines as a side dish. He rated it 4.5 out of 5.
Meanwhile, the rice from Eric Buhain weighed 5 kilos and had short grains. He observed that it was slightly broken but very white and fragrant, with a fresh, farm-like aroma. It cooked well with just the right amount of water and had a good taste. He rated it 4 out of 5.
Ballesteros added that Leviste’s rice received a higher rating mainly because of the larger quantity, but both varieties had good quality. He also pointed out that the real test would be how well the rice holds up when reheated as leftovers.
The content creator’s review gained attention online, with netizens praising his unique way of evaluating relief goods.
