Are Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo engaged?
Celebrity couple Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo, known as the MarVen tandem, shared the story about their “engagement.”
Rumors surfaced that Marco and Heaven got engaged secretly. It was because the actor uploaded a compilation of his video calls to the actress while he was away. Netizens noticed that Heaven’s name on Marco’s phone was “Fiance” with a red heart emoji.
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared that he asked Heaven about this. The actress said that it was their term of endearment for each other.
In a recent interview during the media conference for their new series Avenues of the Diamond, Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo brought “kilig” to everyone at the venue.
Based on the article in Pang-Masa, female cast members of the series were asked about their dream wedding proposal. Heaven said to Marco, “Mahal, ikwento mo na sa kanila pa’no.” Their co-stars were asked if the proposal already happened.
Heaven laughingly said, “Tapos na,” but immediately retracted this with a “charot lang.” Then, the actress said that it does not matter to her where the proposal will happen even if it is just in front of a Thai restaurant.
With this, Marco explained why Heaven mentioned a Thai restaurant. The actor shared that there was a time when he and his girlfriend were eating at a Thai restaurant in Makati and they were just talking.
“Tapos sabi ko, ‘mahal, pa’no kapag hindi ako yumaman? Pa’no kapag hindi kita kayang suportahan? Pa’no kapag hindi matutupad ‘yung mga pangarap natin? Kung sakto lang ‘yung kita ko at hindi ko makuha ‘yung magandang ring or basta magandang singsing. Kahit ganito ba ia-accept mo?” Marco shared.
After that, Marco created a ring out of banana leaf from the Thai food they ordered and gave it to Heaven. The actress said yes. “So, ‘yun, du’n ko nalaman na siya na nga pala,” Marco said that garnered “kilig” reactions from the people present at that time.
The couple was asked if they are engaged now. Heaven answered, “Pa’no ba natin sasagutin? Basta alam mo ‘yun? Mahal namin ang isa’t isa. ‘Yun lang po ‘yun. And you know, if we have any news or like. . .sasabihan namin kayo.“
However, they shared that they already promised each other that through thick and thin, they would still be together. Heaven Peralejo stressed that they are dating to marry but they are not pressuring themselves.
Marco Gallo said that they are not getting younger and the actress added that her boyfriend is a complete package.
