Paolo Contis on having a future project with his friends
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis talked about his weekly bonding with his friends and fellow actors John Lloyd Cruz and Patrick Garcia.
Paolo, Lloydie, Patrick’s friendship started in the hit Kapamilya youth-oriented show Tabing Ilog. After that series, they did separate projects, and a lot happened with their personal lives also.
In recent months, the three actors have been spotted spending time together. With this, fans have been anticipating that they will do a reunion project. Previously, Paolo and Patrick had their reunion movie with their Tabing Ilog co-star Kaye Abad.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Paolo Contis shared that he, John Lloyd Cruz, and Patrick Garcia have been hanging out weekly.
Paolo admitted that it was inevitable that they would talk about the possibility of working together. “Hindi mawawala yung plano. Ang sa amin, siyempre napapag-usapan, we always think that we want to do something,” he said.
The Kapuso actor, on the other hand, said that if this will materialize, then, it would be okay. However, the purpose of the weekly bonding is not about work.
“Actually, naging maganda yung weekly nagkikita kami. Parang ang saya-saya na nakapagkita kami, nakakuwentuhan ng mga bagay-bagay,” Paolo shared.
When asked if they planned to have a TV series or movie together, Paolo Contis said that they are hoping what they planned will push through.
“Alam mo, si John Lloyd, hindi mawawala yung pagiging aktor, yung pagiging artist niya,” Paolo said. For quite some time now, JLC has been not so active in doing showbiz projects.
Paolo believed that with the right project and the right cast. JLC would be willing to work again. The Kapuso actor added that being an actor is already in John Lloyd’s blood.
