Actor Sam Milby Speaks on Viral Crying of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray at TJ Monterde’s Concert
SAM MILBY – The Everything About My Wife actor reacted to his ex-fiancée, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, crying at a concert.
Just as countless people were left happy when Sam and Catriona announced their relationship in 2020, many hearts were also left broken when breakup rumors involving the two (2) celebrities started crossing the surface in 2024.
Sam and Catriona got engaged in 2023. Previously, the Miss Universe 2018 said that they were planning to officially tie the knot in 2024. Countless people were left excited by their announcement.
However, in 2024, breakup rumors involving the two (2) celebrities crossed the surface. It was only last February when Sam Milby confirmed his breakup with Catriona Gray. He also clarified that there was no third party in their separation.
At the recent sold-out concert of TJ Monterde, both Sam Milby and Catriona Gray watched the event directed by John Prats who is very close to Sam. Following the concert, a video of the Miss Universe 2018 crying at the song Hanggang Dito Na Lang went viral on social media.
Recently, during his guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Sam Milby revealed his side on Miss Universe Catriona Gray crying at the concert. They were seated a few seats away from each other.
“TJ, first off, he has beautiful songs. I didn’t know na ganun ‘yung mga songs niya… It was such a beautiful concert… but it was really hard,” the actor said.
Catriona Gray was seated beside Isabel Oli, the wife of John Prats, who comforted her when she was crying. There’s another person beside Isabel and then Sam Milby was spotted talking to the people on his left.
“A woman that I still love and care about. I see a few seats away from me — is crying... I didn’t know how to react… If people thought that I was comfortable, I wasn’t. Complete opposite,” Sam expressed.
Sam Milby stressed that it was a beautiful concert and TJ Monterde has beautiful songs but he was not comfortable at the event considering his situation. During the interview, he admitted that it was not easy for him.
“It’s something that should be celebrated ’cause it was a beautiful concert. My best friend was directing, John Prats. But it was a hard situation and I was kind of frozen at the time. It wasn’t easy at all,” the actor said.
During the interview, Sam Milby went emotional as he talked about his breakup with Catriona Gray. He apologized saying that he did not expect to go emotional during the talk.
