Jillian Ward and Myrtle Sarrosa worked together for the first time
Kapuso stars Jillian Ward and Myrtle Sarrosa talked about working with each other in the Kapuso series My Ilonggo Girl.
Jillian is one of the most bankable talents now in the Kapuso network. After her hit afternoon series, she was given another leading role character in a new series. In this series, Jillian plays a dual role. Previously, she said that it was a challenge for her to do the “suplada” character because it was her first time doing it.
Aside from that, it is also Jillian’s first time to have an onscreen partner. In this series, her leading man is Michael Sager.
Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, in a recent interview, Jillian Ward shared that it was easy for her to get along with Myrtle Sarrosa.
“Second taping day pa lang po namin na magkasama, pero, super gaan po niya kasama. Super bait po niya, tapos ‘yung boses niya napakalambing,” the Star of the New Gen said.
Myrtle, on the other hand, admitted that she felt pressure in getting to the level of how Jillian portrays her character Venice.
“Grabe, ang ganda ng pagkaka-portray talaga ni Jill kay Venice and of course to be part of Book 2 and ituloy ‘yung pag-portray niya kay Venice, it’s really challenging para sa akin.” Myrtle said.
Aside from Myrtle, Jillian also received positive words from their veteran co-stars Teresa Loyzaga and Arlene Muhlach. The two seasoned actresses praised the younger actress and her loveteam partner Michael Sager in this series. More than the talents of the loveteam partners, Teresa and Arlene also admired their good attitude.
Speaking about attitude, Jillian was admired by many people just recently because she helped an elderly woman with cancer at the hospital where they had their taping.
