Young Man in Puerto Princesa Falls Through Ceiling into a Coffee Shop Table
A young man fell through a ceiling and landed on a coffee shop table after breaking into a building in Puerto Princesa.
Trespassing is the act of entering someone else’s property without their permission or legal right to do so. It can involve physical entry onto land, buildings, or other spaces that belong to another person, organization, or government.
Unlike burglary, trespassing doesn’t require any criminal intent beyond being on the property unlawfully.

Trespassing can be intentional, like sneaking into a restricted area, or unintentional, such as accidentally wandering onto private property without realizing it. The consequences of trespassing vary depending on the circumstances and local laws.
Respecting property boundaries and paying attention to signs or warnings that indicate private areas is important.

On Saturday early morning (February 15, 2025), a teenage boy reportedly entered the Puerto Princesa City Water District (PPCWD) building along Rizal Avenue without permission.
According to initial reports, the teen was allegedly being chased by a security guard inside the building. In an attempt to hide, he climbed into the ceiling, thinking it would be a safe spot where no one would find him.

The ceiling couldn’t support his weight and gave way, sending the boy tumbling down. To everyone’s shock, he crashed onto a table in a nearby coffee shop. Thankfully, no customers were reported injured during the incident.
It’s unclear why the teen entered the building in the first place or what led to the chase. Authorities are currently investigating the incident to gather more details and clarify what really happened.

No further information about the boy’s condition or whether he sustained injuries has been released. Meanwhile, the coffee shop and PPCWD staff are working to address the damage caused by the fall.
