This is what Regine Velasquez shared about the condition she has been suffering from for years now.
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez recently opened up about her extreme migraine and how this affects her life.
A migraine is much more than a bad headache. It isn’t just painful. It is debilitating and throbbing and will leave for days or even weeks in extreme pain. Recently, in an interview, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez shared her case of migraine and how it badly affects her whenever she’s having one.

Accordingly, it started when she was just 35 years old. She has high pain tolerance but the pain from her migraine was something extraordinary that there was even one time when she wanted to bump her head hard on a wall because of the pain.
She was ultra-sensitive to everything and to people who don’t have this, they would never understand the kind of pain a migraine is giving. The last time she had was before her menopause and it lasted for a month.
What was even worse was the time when no medicine or pain reliever could ever give her relief.
“Extreme pain na feeling mo luluwa yung mata mo. Yung matatanggal yung mata mo,” she shared. There are different causes in her case. It could be the weather, the activities she does, and others, and in time, it will eventually just go away only that it could last for weeks, and in her experience, suffered from it for a month.

“Yun yung nakakainis eh, wala kang mainom. Wala nang gumagana. Wala na talaga,” she quipped based on a video.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, the pain gets worse with physical activity, bright lights, loud noises, and strong odors. This condition is disruptive and can interfere with one’s daily routine.
There are foods that can stop migraine such as avocado, salmon, sweet potatoes, watermelon, carrots, and lemon juice.
