Legendary actress Gloria Romero, one of the major stars of the first Golden Age of Philippine Cinema, died on January 25, 2025. Romero died at the age of 91 and many people were heartbroken over this piece of news.
Many celebrities also paid their tributes to the legendary actress.
Melissa Yap Mendez was deeply saddened upon hearing the news and asked for strength and comfort for the bereaved family, especially her daughter.
Charo Santos Concio details how she was “mesmerized by her beauty and brilliance on the silver screen”. She has seen her in movies bringing life to the characters she portrayed with authenticity, elegance, and grace. She was the producer of “Kapag Langit ang Humatol” and saw how dedicated and professional she was as an actress.
“Tita Glo wasn’t just an icon; she was a guiding light for so many of us. She showed us how to carry success with humility, how to navigate challenges with grace, and how to leave a legacy that transcends time,” Charo wrote.
Amy Perez, who used to call Romero “Mommy”, expressed how she will miss the late actress. She thanked her for everything.
