Celebrities Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez’s celebration was confirmed in 2024. Amid the talks of their separation at that time, the actor was spotted with an actress at a gastropub and their photo went viral online.
Barbie Imperial and Richard’s first sighting was at a gastropub in Alabang, Muntinlupa. They were huddling close together and rumors about their vacation in Amanpulo followed this.
Barbie and Richard were spotted in South Korea as well and more circumstances of them together followed fueling the romance rumors between them.
Recently, in an interview with Ogie Diaz, the actor finally spoke about their relationship. He did not confirm through his word but he did say that since people have seen a lot already, he just put it this way – “what you see is what you get”.
He also did clarify some things such as the accusations about Imperial.
Gutierrez said, “Nakilala ko si Barbie, matagal na kaming nagkahiwalay ng landas ni Sarah. So, yun, gusto ko lang i-clarify. Siyempre kasi parang ang daming nagre-react sa kanya, ang daming mga nag-hate comment sa kanya. So siyempre, kailangan ko siyang protektahan. Kailangan ko rin i-clarify yun, di ba?”
Diaz also got the chance to ask him about Barbie and what he likes about her. The first thing he said was she is the “what you see is what you get” type. For him, she is also a good person, caring, and someone who is genuine with genuine intentions.
“Mabuting tao, maalaga. Nakikita mo na genuine yung intentions niya, genuine yung pagkatao niya,” he said based on the video.
