Another year is about to end and here are some New Year’s resolutions for 2025 that you can do!
NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS 2025 – Many of us fail when it comes to being consistent and here are some you can easily achieve!
New Year’s resolutions are sets of personal goals or commitments that will help a person improve his or her life in the coming year. However, a lot of us still struggle to achieve these goals for a variety of reasons and one of them is that we have set unrealistic goals.
We were overly ambitious when setting them and we were not specific. Goals like “get fit” or “be more productive” are vague. It doesn’t have clarity which makes it hard to track progress or stay committed.
For another year to come, we will not be making the same mistakes anymore, and here are some easy and achievable goals you can start with:
- Start a gratitude journal.
- Make time for family.
- Cook new foods.
- Read more books.
- Cut back on alcohol.
- Quit smoking.
- Learn to love vegetables.
- Become a plant owner.
- Always use the stairs.
- Go out but not to parties and clubs. Go out to travel, unwind, try out new cafes, eat good food, and others.
- Do cardio and lift weights.
- Give away your smaller clothes and upgrade your wardrobe.
- Invest in your skincare routine.
- Walk more and always choose to take the stairs.
- Make your bed every morning.
When it comes to resolutions, be SMART to craft better goals – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Sensitive. We have the best of intentions but sometimes, we get to be over-eager.
And most importantly, write them down! Sometimes, these goals are easy to forget, and the written goals are reminders of what you have achieved, your progress, and what more you can do.
