Filipina R&B singer-songwriter Denise Julia was trending online after famous photographer BJ Pascual revealed that she was his worst experience when it comes to working. She refused to pay the fees for the studio, production designer, and stylist after she canceled the shoot one day before.
With this issue trending online, some witty netizens made the “Dennis Julia” and this went viral. This meme pertains to Julia Barretto and her father Dennis Padilla whose relationship has always been controversial. They have this on and off relationship as a father and daughter and this seems like an open book to the public.
Recently, actress Julia Barretto was asked about this meme and the “Unhappy For You” star admitted that it took her some time to fully digest the entire context of the meme.
According to her, it was her Gen Z brother who showed her the meme and she was completely unaware of the issue. She quipped, “Oh my goodness! Ang witty ng mga tao these days. Yun pala ang pinapakita ng kapatid ko kagabi. Hindi ko naiintindihan! Ngayon, gets ko na.”
She found it funny how people online became so creative in putting two different things together. It also seems like she doesn’t mind at all, she was just amused based on the video.
Julia is Padilla’s daughter with Marjorie Barretto. Her other siblings are Leon and Claudia.
