Diana Zubiri will be an upcoming Kapusop series
Actress Diana Zubiri expressed excitement about her acting comeback through the Kapuso series Mga Batang Riles.
The series also features Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy de Santos, Bruce Roeland, Raheel Bhyria, and Antonio Vinzon. Previously, Senator Robin Padilla shared that she was offered a special role in this series but he refused to accept because of his busy schedule in the Senate.
Mga Batang Riles is set to premiere in January next year. GMA has been teasing the behind-the-scenes of this series on social media.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Diana Zubiri expressed excitement about her return to acting after five years. Details about her character in the series are yet to be revealed.
The last acting project that she did was in 2020 through the movie In the Name of the Mother and an episode of Tadhana titled Bayad Danyos. Before making it big because of her Sang’gre Danaya role in the 2005 fantasy drama Encantadia, Diana was first known for her viral FHM shoot in which she wore a red two-piece swimwear on the EDSA flyover.
“Excited na excited ako. Kasi kami ang unang show na papasok ngayong Bagong Taon, kami ang opening ng taon na ‘to. Kaya masaya ako sa aking pagbabalik pagkatapos ng limang taon,” the actress said.
She will be the mother of the character of Miguel Tanfelix. Diana has nothing but good words for the actor.
The actress said that Miguel is respectful and possesses discipline in his work. She also said that it can be seen how trained the actor is because he has been in the industry since he was young.
“Trained na siya. Professional. Okay na Okay ‘yung tandem namin bilang mag-ina. Talagang nagre-reach out sa’kin at nagbibigay siya ng effort,” Diana shared.
