Pinay Sexy Actress Diana Zubiri Agrees to Daring FHM Shoot In Exchange for Cellphone
Diana Zubiri recently reminisced the daring photoshoot she did on the EDSA flyover in Ortigas for a men’s magazine.
Zubiri shared her experience during a Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, revealing that the shoot was a simple challenge presented by her manager. The dare was to do a photoshoot on the busy EDSA flyover, with the added twist of posing provocatively as cars passed by.
Being known for her sexy image in FHM, Diana accepted the challenge but not without setting a unique condition. The controversial photoshoot became the cause of legal troubles for the actress.
During the time of the shoot, the first-ever Nokia phone with a camera earned instant popularity. Despite being a budding celebrity, she didn’t own a cellphone and would borrow her sister’s for communication regarding call times and schedules.
The sexy actress made a request to her manager to buy her a cellphone with a camera. “Sabi niya, ‘Yun lang pala eh! Sige!’ Mali pala ‘yung hiniling ko, cellphone lang,” Diana shared.
Much to her surprise, on the very day they did the sexy shoot, Diana received the cellphone she wished for.
The 38-year-old celebrity admitted that there was a part of her that wasn’t entirely happy about doing sexy roles at that time. “Happy? Medyo hindi masyado, kasi bata ako noong magsimula. I was just doing that kasi siyempre ‘yun ‘yung stepping stone ko, gusto ko talagang mag-artista noong time na ‘yun.” she expressed.
The actress clarified that, at that age, she wasn’t fully aware of what she was getting into and lacked a clear understanding of how to handle such roles. She expressed happiness that her image underwent a transformation over time after reflecting on her past decisions.
