Park Min-jae Passes Away At 32

The agency of Park Min-jae confirmed his death

South Korean actor Park Min-jae passed away in China and this sad news was confirmed by his agency on December 2.

Min-jae appeared in several hit Korean series that also became popular in the Philippines such as ‘Idol: The Coop’, ‘Mr. LEE’, ‘ Tomorrow ‘, ‘ Little Women ‘, ‘ The Fabulous ‘, ‘ The Law ‘, and ‘ Say It’s Love’.

His fans were saddened when news of his passing away circulated on social media. Based on the report from Maeil Business Newspaper, Min-jae died in China. Big Title CEO Hwang Joo-hye shared in a statement on SNS this heartfelt words for the late actor.

The guy who said he would go on a month-long trip to win China is going on a very long trip. It’s so absurd, so ridiculous… It must have been sadder for your family,” Hwang Joo-hye said.

He also expressed gratitude and apology to the late actor. “It was a short time, but I was grateful and sorry to be your representative. Actor Park Min-jae, I will never forget these five letters,” Min-jae’s agency CEO said. Reportedly, the South Korean actor died due cardiac arrest on November 29.

The funeral is at the Room 9 of the funeral hall of Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital. The service will take place on December 4 at 9:30 AM but the burial site is yet to be decided.

Park Min-jae’s young brother also expressed a heartfelt message for the late actor. “My beloved brother has gone to rest. I hope as many people as possible can remember my brother. Please understand that I cannot contact everyone individually,” Min-jae’s brother wrote in a social media post.

His fans messages of love and sympathy also poured on social media while some reminised the roles he portrayed onscreen.

Meanwhile, last November, the entertainment industry in South Korea was also shocked by the death of actor Song Jae-rim.
