“We will not break,” says Vice President Sara Duterte in her recent video.
Vice President Sara Duterte expressed her gratitude to those who helped Office of the Vice President (OVP) personnel amid the issues.
There’s still an ongoing probe regarding the alleged misuse of confidential funds in the offices of Sara Duterte: the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and, from 2022 to 2023, the Department of Education (DepEd).
There were receipts believed to be fake, questionable acknowledgment receipts, and Mary Grace Piattos, among others. The House Committee on Good Government and Accountability and the quad panel made the decision even to reward those who could give details about Mary Grace Piattos.
Amid the probe and issues regarding the alleged misuse of confidential funds, another issue surfaced and this was after Duterte made remarks threatening the lives of President Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Liza Marcos. House Speaker Martin Romualdez was also included and this matter reached international news.
There are also controversial matters involving OVP personnel and while all these things happen, the vice president recently uploaded a video expressing her gratitude.
She is grateful to the professional who helped personnel affected by the ongoing issues her office is facing. Duterte is grateful to “all the lawyers, doctors, and other professionals who are helping the personnel affected by the on-going crisis in the office”.
Duterte also added that legal documents are being processed now and that the hospitalized personnel are now being taken care of. This support allowed them to focus on other things such as OVP thanksgiving, year-end activities, office utilization review, and the calendar year 2025 planning.
“We assure the Filipino people that even in times of crisis and without resources, we shall stand tall, strong, and resilient in our service to the Filipino people,” Duterte also said.
