Actress-singer Agot Isidro caught netizens’ attention with her recent intriguing post amid the issue between Vice President Sara Duterte and President Bongbong Marcos.
Agot is one of the many celebrities who are vocal about their political beliefs and principles. During the 2022 elections, she actively participated in campaign events for the tandem of former Vice President Leni Robredo and former Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
The actress-singer also uses her social media platforms to air her opinion on social issues and notice the acts of certain politicians.
On the night of November 23, Agot Isidro shared an intriguing post on X, formerly known as Twitter. This came after a video of VP Sara Duterte circulated online in which she talked about the supposed “threat” she had against Pres. Bongbong Marcos.
The issue is rooted in an order released by the House of Representatives to transfer the Chief-of-Staff of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) Atty. Zuleika Lopez to Veterans Memorial Medical Center. She was detained after Congress issued a subpoena against her because she left the country a day before she was invited to appear in a hearing about the alleged misuse of OVP’s funds. Lopez was rushed to the hospital after falling ill and VP Sara accompanied her.
The Vice President’s staff member was emotional when the transfer order was read. Lopez said that she feared for her life. After this, VP Sara released a video with her fierce statement against Pres. Marcos, as well as, House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Amid this issue, Agot Isidro shared this post on her X account. “Just saw the video. Na-scam talaga mga botante. Sa mga bumoto ng tama, itaas ang kamay,” she wrote. Although she did not mention any name in her post, it was quick for netizens to guess that this was about the current issue between the Vice President and the President.
