Pastor Apollo Quiboloy Allegedly Suffers from Dental Implant Infection
APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The camp of the Pastor confirmed that they sought for an extension of his medical furlough amid a dental implant infection.
One of the high-profile entities who is currently detained under the custody of the Philippine National Police is Pastor Quiboloy, the founder and leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) church who is faced with several charges.
Quiboloy was in hiding for several months prior to his arrest. The PNP even conducted intensified search operations which reportedly included drilling activities inside the KOJC compound in Davao City to search for the Pastor.
Pastor Apollo Quiboloy was arrested by the PNP amid an ultimatum that the authorities has issued. He’s detained at the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame. However, Quiboloy was recently brought to the hospital due to chest discomfort and irregular heartbets.
After the said incident, the camp of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy sought for a medical furlough to have him checked. It was granted by the Court. He was brought to the Philippine Heart Center.
According to the Philippine National Police, Quiboloy was briefly brought to the Philippine Children’s Medical Center which is close to the Philippine Heart Center for more tests. The authorities assured that he was brought back right away to PHC.
Previously, the lawyer of Quiboloy stressed that the condition of the Pastor is not life-threatening. However, recently, his camp appealed to the Court for an extension of his medical furlough.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Attorney Israelito Torreon claimed that there are matters that they have to address concerning the dental operation of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy as they are affecting his jaw.
“Mayroong infection po kasi yung kaniyang dental implants. May opposition and prosecution so we have to address that today,” the lawyer said.
Despite his arrest and detention, Pastor Quiboloy is running for senator in the 2025 Elections. He is running as an independent candidate and former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, a close friend of the Pastor, promised to campaign him all over the Philippines.
