APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The Philippine National Police released a statement on the hospital confinement of the detained Pastor.

Quiboloy was in hiding for several months before the Philippine National Police (PNP) has arrested him. The cops reportedly did intensified search operations at the KOJC compound in Davao City.

Now that the Pastor is in the hands of the authorities, Senator Risa Hontiveros previously called Quiboloy who claims that he is the “son of god” as the “arrested son of god”. Currently, he is detained at the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame.

Quiboloy is faced with a non-bailable case. Previously, his camp expressed a desire to appeal for the Pastor’s custody to be transferred to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) or have him under a house arrest but there were no updates as to whether or not they pushed through the plan.

Amid his detention, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is running as an independent candidate for senator in the 2025 Elections. The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has previously released a list of the valid candidates for next year’s senatorial race and the Pastor’s name is one of those in the list.

Quiboloy initially filed his senatorial bid under the Workers’ and Peasants’ Party but the WPP denied giving him a Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance (CONA).
