Woman Elicits Comments Online After Her Denture Sticks to Sandwich She Was Eating
A woman went viral and entertained people online after her denture got stuck to the sandwich she was biting into.
A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. It’s made of a sturdy material, usually acrylic or metal, and is designed to look and function like natural teeth.
Dentures can be full (replacing all teeth in the upper or lower jaw) or partial (replacing only some missing teeth). They are often worn by people who have lost teeth due to age, injury, or other factors.
Recently, Reyna Mae Lazaga, who was at the airport with her sister, was enjoying a free sandwich given by an airline when the unexpected happened. While munching on the tuna sandwich, Reyna’s dentures got stuck to it, and she couldn’t get them back!
It was a mix-up between the soft tuna filling and the loose denture, which wasn’t as securely attached as she thought.
Panicked, Reyna quickly covered her mouth and hid behind her sister, trying not to feel embarrassed. Despite the mishap, she decided to finish the sandwich because they were both hungry and didn’t want to waste the food.
She just had to be extra careful eating it to avoid further surprises.
Her sister, Marjelyn Luayon Lazaga, found the whole situation hilarious and couldn’t stop laughing at what had happened. While Reyna did find the situation funny, she also got some online criticism and felt a bit hurt by the teasing.
In the end, Reyna took the experience in stride and shared it online for others to laugh at, too. She even learned a valuable lesson: always use strong adhesive for dentures, especially in public!
