Rita Daniela Receives Support From Claudine Barretto

In a post, Claudine Barretto expresses her support for Rita Daniela.

Following the complaint filed by Rita Daniela versus Archie Alemania, actress Claudine Barretto shared this post.

The issue between actress Rita Daniela and actor Archie Alemania emerged online after the Kapuso actress filed an acts of lasciviousness complaint before the Office of the City Prosecutor in Bacoor City on Wednesday, October 30. Although this kind of controversy is no longer new in the industry, the actor’s involvement in it surprised many people. This was the first time that Alemania got involved in such an issue.

According to the complaint, she felt traumatized and violated by the words and gestures of the actor toward her which started during the Thanksgiving party Bea Alonzo held for the people of “Widow’s War”. They both star in the said series and at the time she came, he was already drunk.

Also reflected in the affidavit, the actor forced his way to kiss her and enter her mouth and was even touching some parts of her body. In a previous article, Rita shared why she allowed Archie to drive her home. She thought he was already sober but the worst happened when he dropped her off.

Archie is allegedly no longer part of “Widows War,” but the actress was encouraged to pursue her legal complaint despite his removal.

Following this, Claudine Barretto reacted. In a post, she shared screenshots of her talk with Daniela, whom she considers as her sister. She expressed how dear the actress is to her and that she will do anything she can to fight for her and protect her. In a message to her perpetrator, she wrote, “APOLOGIZE BEFORE ITS TOO LATE BOY.”

Barretto added that it won’t make him less of a man to admit and own up to his mistakes as what he has done caused her something beyond trauma. She expressed, “makikipag laban ka daw sa Korte to clear your image & name & i respect you doing this for your family. its easier to own up & apologize. u have a family.”

She appealed for people to not blame her as the victim and instead show her compassion and love.
