Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo held a Thanksgiving party for the team of the series “Widows’ War” to appreciate their bonding and the family that was built.

Kapuso’s crime-mystery thriller “Widows’ War” was launched last July 1, 2024, with the pilot episode recording a 12.1% rating. The story makes a breathtaking blend of drama, deceit, passion, and intrigue where characters fight for both love and survival.

Actresses Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana are Samantha “Sam” Castillo-Palacios and Georgina “George” Balay-Palacios, respectively. They were formerly best friends but turned enemies after an unfortunate incident changed their lives forever.

Sam gets himself tied in the maze of secrets of Paco and his family and with the series getting deeper and deeper in the story, Sam finds no way out. She either comes out with the truth or comes out with death.

As the characters of the series meet more and more complicated twists, so does the relationship of the actors in real life but it was a different twist. From being co-actors, they are now family and Alonzo, one of the lead stars could not help but celebrate the close bond of everyone by holding a Thanksgiving Party.

In a new post, Bea expressed, “We’ve been taping in Bataan for the past few months, and we’ve gotten close. Naging pamilya na kami. And it was nice to let our hair down for a night and enjoy.”

In the comment section, her co-actors turned family thanked her for holding such a wonderful event. Jean Garcia thanked her for an event where they had a great time. She is looking forward for another get-together with everyone.

Meanwhile, the series was also clearly a success. Many people online were left gushing about the crazy storyline and unpredictable twists.
