JHONG HILARIO MAGPASIKAT 2024 – A strong advocacy through their performance was shown – a concept many people could relate to.
Mental health is an underestimated topic and many of us often take it for granted or talk about it lightly. Not all people can fully grasp this concept until they get into the situation. With all these notions about mental health, this prompted many to hide behind a smiling mask in fear that they would be judged as to how something intangible can affect them so much without knowing those were the intangibles that can easily break someone, even anyone.
With this reality, the performance of Team JJC or Jhong Hilario, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez talked about this. People gushed about the symbolisms in their performance and the solid advocacy behind it.
They spread a reminder that kindness has no value and that kindness is a must at all times as not everyone is aware of the struggles and inner battles others are going through.
Hilario performed with his daughter Sarina and dancers Niana Guerrero and Rochelle Pangilinan. It was an elaborate performance of emotions and how being kind can affect other people.
Gonzaga and Dominguez did an interpretative dance showing their struggles as if telling a story of where they should belong, their strength, and how they hide the emotional baggage they always carry with them.
Towards their performance, mental health advocates appeared such as beauty queens Kylie Verzosa and Michelle Dee, actresses Sofia Andres, Maxene Magalona, and Louise delos Reyes, and singer Jed Madela.
