Popular vlogger and singer Donnalyn Bartolome recently shared a humorous reaction on Facebook after a social media quote card featuring her photo went viral. The original post came from the page “Hugot ni Tisay,” known for sharing emotional and relatable quotes, or “hugot” lines.
The post featured Donnalyn’s image alongside a poignant message about letting go of someone who doesn’t value you, in the hopes of falling into the arms of the right person.
The quote read: “Minsan, mas tamang bumitaw pag hindi ka pinapahalagahan. Malay mo sa pagbitaw mo mahulog ka sa tamang pwesto at masalo ng tamang tao.”
(Translation: “Sometimes, it’s better to let go when you’re not being valued. Who knows, in letting go, you might fall into the right place and be caught by the right person.”)
