Magpasikat 2024 officially started
The team of Vice Ganda, Karylle, and Ryan Bang is the first to perform in It’s Showtime’s Magpasikat 2024 and they featured P-Pop Kings SB19, 2-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, and showbiz personality Awra Briguela as their guests.
It has been a tradition of the Kapamilya noontime show to have their yearly presentation to celebrate their anniversary. This year, It’s Showtime is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and avid fans of the show are anticipating the explosive, exciting, and heartfelt performances from the hosts.
Team Vice, Karylle, and Ryan’s theme for Magpasikat 2024 focused on “Hope.” They started their performance with a conversation about what they hoped for.
Karylle emotionally talked about her father who passed away last August. She said that even though her father is no longer around, she still hopes that he can hear the song she wrote for her. The singer-actress emotionally performed this song.
Ryan Bang focused on his hope to spend time with his parents again after they separated when he was still young. Somehow, he saw hope when his parents met his fiancee.
Ryan’s dance performance depicted his desire to have both his parents on his wedding day.
Vice Ganda shared that his hope is rooted in his loved ones and despite the criticism and judgment, he will continue to rise above these all. His dance performance mirrored how he stayed from all those negativities. Then, he sang as part of SB19’s Liham song with different lyrics.
Then, SB19 entered the stage singing the song after they shared their “sana” in a recorded video. After that, Carlo Yulo and Awra Briguela shared what they were hoping for. Other people also shared what they hope for. The Magpasikat 2024 performance of Team Vice, Karylle, and Ryan ended their performance with the reunion of an OFW mother with her kids.
