Man Silenced by Own Friends in Pasig City
A man in Pasig City was reportedly killed by his own friends and his remains were hidden in a cemented septic tank.
The police authorities discovered the body of a man who was being attacked and killed by his friends. According to the reports, four out of five suspects involved in the murder have already been apprehended.
According to the police, the victim was violently attacked by the suspects, who choked him and even stabbed him with a screwdriver.
Once the victim was dead, they wrapped him in a blanket and discarded him into the septic tank, sealing it with cement.
Investigators believe that a love triangle may have motivated this crime. The police chief, Captain Jazon Lovendino, explained that one of the suspects was jealous because the victim wanted to reconcile with his ex-girlfriend, who is currently in a relationship with the suspect.
“Ito pong sumakal, ito ang karelasyon ngayon ng ex-girlfriend [ng biktima]. Isa sa ano ngayon, jealous[y]… Nagseselos po siya kasi itong biktima, gustong makipag-balikan sa kaniyang kinakasama ngayon,” said Lovendino.
The law enforcement was able to locate the victim’s body with the help of the information provided by an informant.
“Binalot [ang biktima] sa kumot. After noon, doon sa may septic tank, hinukay nila. May butas, doon nila shinoot ang biktima, and then sinemento,” he added.
The investigation revealed that the suspects suspected the victim of reporting their illegal activities to the authorities, which added to the motive behind the crime. It has been confirmed that they were involved in illegal drug pushing.
As the investigation progresses, murder charges have been filed against the suspects. Two of them were arrested during a follow-up operation, while another was apprehended in a separate raid. The suspect was caught in Masbate.
