Last June, Carlo and Charlie tied the knot in secret at Alta Veranda de Tibig in Silang, Cavite. The details were under wraps and was attended by their closest friends and family.

About their love story
According to the actor, it all started after they worked in the series “A Soldier’s Heart”. During the Star Magic tour in the United States, something was ignited between them after several chances of being able to be with each other that was work-related.
“Kapag may kailangang gawing vlog for Star Magic, kami magkasama, so nadevelop,” he said. He pursued her and even went to Sacramento to meet her parents while juggling his time as he was in the middle of a tour with singer Gigi De Lana at that time.
From San Francisco, he drove his way to Sacramento to her surprise but that gesture was also something she appreciated. He was interviewed by the parents about his past and answered them properly. He showed that he has a clear and good intention to their daughter.
He proposed to her on her 30th birthday and asked her this question before getting on one knee to pop the question, “Ano na gusto mong journey after your 30th?”
The actor added that they’ve had their wedding extremely private not because of his past relationship. It was their personal decision to keep it that way as sometimes, people tend to destroy something that is supposed to be beautiful.
About his wife and daughter, they have a close bond. He shared, “Mahal na mahal siya ni Mithi and mahal na mahal siya ni April. Minsan hinahanap ni Mithi kapag wala si April.”
When it comes to having their own child, they are accordingly not in a rush.
